Answers for Infertility!

You know what your Doctor and what the world says about Infertility. It’s now time to discover what God says!

Gen 49:25 because of your father’s God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb.

Gen 28:3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.

Lev 26:9“I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.”

Psa 128:2-3 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table.

Isa 41:18 I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.

Created for Fruitfulness!
God created every single one of us with a perfect plan. We did not evolve! Every bone, muscle, tissue, and organ including those in our reproductive systems. God the creator, is also God the healer. If you have any problems in your reproductive system then God can heal you! It is God’s design for us to reproduce. He created us to have children. One of God’s first commands to man, was for us to reproduce by having children. It is His will and blessing for us and His word says He adds no trouble to His blessings.

Gen 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Gen 9:7 As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift (in this case children) is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Psa 127:3 Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from Him. (NAS) Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Psa 115:14 May the LORD make you increase, both you and your children.

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

You Are Not Alone!
There are several couples in the Bible who could not conceive. Every couple who cried out to God were heard and He answered by opening their wombs! Remember always that God does not show favoritism, which means that what He has done for the following couples, He can also do for you!

Gen 25:21 Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.

Gen 29:31 & 30:17 & 22 When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. God listened to Leah, and she became pregnant and bore Jacob a fifth son. Then God remembered Rachel; He listened to her and opened her womb. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said “God has taken away my disgrace.”

1 Sam 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him. (Hannah)

Luke 1:36,37 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.

Heb 11:11 By faith Abraham, even though he was past age–and Sarah herself was barren–was enabled to become a father because He considered him faithful who had made the promise.

Jesus Finished Work!

If you have a sickness in your body preventing your children from being conceived or carried safely to the full term of the pregnancy know that Jesus has ALREADY won the battle! The price for infertility and miscarriage has already been paid and the victory already won for you!

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

You are now free to go forth, be fruitful and multiply!

I’m loving this blog by Nerida Walker… on faith & infertility.

I’m waiting on my own miracle from God and while I do it’s encouraging to hear God’s truth about this situation and to walk the journey with others who are believing for the same thing.

Sometimes it’s hard when your situation looks impossible in the natural to believe God when the Bible says that, “all things are possible with God.” Luke 1:37.

But this year more than ever I have decided to take God at his word. When I read all the stories in the Bible of women being unable to have children… every woman who believed God – became pregnant and gave birth to precious children. Not one woman was left barren.

I know that God is no respecter of persons so if he did it for Abraham and Sarah and Elizabeth and Zechariah he can do it for me and my hubby whatever age I end up being!

For me taking God at his word means lining up my situation under His word.
It’s means knowing Him andHis word and praying and speaking it over my life.
It means no matter how impossible it looks in the natural I fix my eyes on Jesus and the promise he has given me.
It means no matter how many people get pregnant around me and walk the journey with me for a while and then get their prayers answered I still believe.

I have learnt the difference between the facts and truth. The enemy comes with the facts and tells me why my situation is impossible but I will cling to the truth of God’s word that all things are possible with Him.

I LOVE how the amplified Bible puts it:
“And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”

I believing this and if you’re in a similar situation would love to stand with you and believe the same for you.

    • I’m believing along with you as my husband and I desire to have a child or our own even though I’m 49 this month and my husband is 57.

      • Mary, your transparency has blessed me. I am 47 and my husband is 53. I am still believing God for my first child. I am standing in prayer for you if God has not brought forth your child(ren). Blessings.

  3. Hi Nerida, great post.
Please I have a question, this year I decided to trust in God completely and stop taking medications. Each time my menses come out, I start all over confessing and trusting God for conception in that cycle. When this last time, Holy spirit prompted me to realise that am repeating this prayers because I dont believe IT IS DONE, that am waiting to miss my period before I start thanking God that am pregnant. So I went back to the scripture, when I read Romans 4:19-21 (amplified version) it was like an explosion! suddendly I realised I was acting in unbelief by waiting to see my period instead of giving glory to God that He has already provided. That was a huge revelation to me, I was filled with joy and started thanking God so much. Then this thought came to me ‘if you say you are pregnant why are you still taking Pregnare Conception, is it not for someone who wants to conceive?’. I dont know if that thought was a prompting from God or the devil speaking, I know about the battle that goes on in the mind.

    • Hi Charis many apologies for my late reply I only discovered your comment today. Sounds like you answered your own Q 🙂 Let the Lord lead you in what you do or don’t do and soon the rest will be history!
